Does this issue occur on every boot? (can you please try around 3 times?)
Does it occur on every version?
Please also uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.

If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue. 

  • Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang. 

  • Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack. 

  • If you have problems on large servers like Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software. 

Also, unfortunately we are only able to accept bug reports in English since it is the common language used on this tracker.

This is a launcher configuration file and should not impact anything around your games if you only delete that specific file.
