Hi!

Did you install the Launcher from Microsoft store or Xbox app, or did you download it from http://minecraft.net website?

  1. First of all, uninstall the Launcher normally, and install it again.

  2. Download the latest version of the Launcher from http://minecraft.net (version 10/11) https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download  (you have to be signed on the website with your mc account), and install it again.

  3. Restart Windows Explorer:

    Right-click the taskbar and select "Task Manager." Find "Windows Explorer" in the processes list, right-click it, and select "Reset”

  4. Clear the icon cache:

    This can fix corrupted icon files. Press Win + R, type %localappdata%, press Enter, and then delete the IconCache.db file. You may need to enable "Hidden items" in the View tab of the File Explorer options to see the file.

This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply.

However, this issue is Invalid. 
Your game, launcher or server is modified. 
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue. 

  • Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang. 

  • Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack. 

  • If you have problems on large servers like Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.
